I came here this AM hoping to find a post from Christian’s brother Adam and instead his profile is completely erased. Anyone know what happened? I hope he is still with us!

Back a few months ago I posted when the National Bone Marrow Registry was free. Well, now Nascar is helping out and paying the fee for the BE THE MATCH campaign. If you know anyone you know or if you want to join now is the time. Bone marrow transplant is very dear to me since Brent had a transplant. Some stranger we don’t even now gave of their time (at christmas) to try to save Brent’s life. Even though Brent lost his battle it is still important to me to get the word out so someone else may benefit from an awesome act of kindness.
You just go to www.marrow.org Fill out the questionnaire. The # you put in the application is 1314443834. They ask for this # way at the end of the questionnaire. They mail you the kit and when you get it you do the three cheek swabs and send it back. It is so easy to do. Thanks.

I lost my father to leukemia and was so excited to see your post. This is something I had always wondered about but never took the step. I immediatey went to the web page to register. Unfortunately I have several medical issues that prevent me from donating. It was such a disappointment. I will work on everyone I know to get them to donate. Even I get just one, it will be one more. I am so sorry I can’t donate but this has given me the boost to get out there and do something!

Hmmmmmmmmmmm….maybe he just decided to keep his “journey” a bit more personal—-just among his family and [b]close [/b]personal/family friends. I really don’t know WHY he made the decision he made but know that there is alot of support among the survivorsand /or bloggers on this board and there has to be a ligitimate reason behind him just erasing his profile.
Honestly I think he might of passed away. RIP Christian.
Jill, I agree I think he may have passed. He never really gave a prognosis. I was shocked when his brother wrote yesterday about how poor his health was. It’s to bad.
